leo thanx for your reply but all i want to know is what to do with the primary wires that come from the coil. im up here in ontario canada and i dont think it would be cost effective to send my whole car to somewhere in the states, to have two 18 gauge wires routed for me but thanx any way rob
You won't have any wires going to coil (-) once the old distributor is removed. A lot of people just tape off the wire connections that went to coil (+) and tie them back. A new wire is then added from the fuseblock IGN terminal to the HEI BAT terminal. One place to get a new wire and HEI connector is here. http://www.centechwire.com/catalog/accessories/hei1.shtml
