Then yes, thats a good set of control arms. The uppers are great because they are double adjustable and have a spherical rodend to eliminate suspension bind. The lowers could be better if they didnt have poly bushings in them. UMI makes a LCA w/ spherical ends as well. Maybe you could contact the seller and see if he can set u up w/ the uppers and lowers both w/. the spherical rod ends on them for a good price.

what would the good and bad points be for uppers and lowers with rod ends. car will be a hot street car that may see the strip a few times. do i really need them? grovey

There will be a small increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) but it will allow your suspension to move freely without binding.
