I'm swapping in a repro console and refinished buckets in place of my column/bench. (72 chevelle SS).

What do I need for wiring harness:

I'm told I need two (main and extension)?

Also, where does this connect to the dash wiring?

Thanks,
Bob

On my 69, I never did find a plug in the main harness for the extension harness, so I just did it the loong way...rain wires from the steering column for neutral safety switch and reverse lights, from the fuse panel for shift indicator lights as I recal, etc...

Do a search on this forum under "console wiring", I got some real good responses to the same question when I was doing mine.

Yes you need the extension harness and the console harness. Both are available at M&H The SS gauge dash harness will have the connection needed for the console. The SS light dash harness should have the connection for the console.
