Has anybody thought of putting a ratchet shifter in their stock 68-72 automatic console? Because I like the looks of the console but would love to have a ratchet shift. Is there anyway to put one in the console? Has anybody done this? if so post pics.

some of them arent the pics your looking for but theres only a few i modified my console to put a hurst vmattic. its not done yet but it will work easiest with a "b&m light truck ratchet shifter"

Could you please explain how you modified your console to fit the Hurst in? Did you have to do anything to the console or the ratchet shifter for them to fit?
