With RUSH coming around on tour this year, I REALLY want to get good tickets! Would LOVE to hear from anyone who knows how to lock in a good set (4) of concert tickets! Any AMEX Platinum members out there? or anyone with connections? I'll do my best to make it worth your time!

Just frustrating for the average joe with no connections: TicketBastard never seems to release the good tickets. Last time Rush was around (as a fan club member) I was given the p/w to the 'presale'. Hah. Better tickets were onsale for the general release! Presale had tickets in the 200 section. Geez!

ANYONE with good hints/tips, please feel free to comment!

I do worry about getting ripped off my some jerk with a lazerprinter. Just sucks that the average joe can't buy them like the scammers do.

Tried that 2x last go round Darren. Best I could find was 200 section, both for the presale & the regular release.

Think I might actually go camp out at the Tweeter Center in Camden (WITH GUN) and wait for tickets.

I am a huge Rolling Stones fan. For this last tour I bought all of my tickets (I saw four shows) through pre-sales. I am a member of their fan club and an Amex cardholder. Although the seats I bought were ok, they weren't great. I bought them to make sure I had a ticket, but still looked for better seats. I discovered that the better seats are usually released on Ticket Master either a day before or the day of the show...once the stage is set-up and they can see how many more seats can be made available. I have friends who have bought great seats the day of the show at the box office. You will always have better luck at the box office as you can ask for a particular section.

Another option is StubHub.com. It's also safer than ebay for tickets. I have sold some of my pre-sale tickets there after I end up with better seats for myself. I saw The Stones in Atlantic City in November and ended up with front row seats right beside the stage, about ten feet from the band. A friend of mine kept checking TM and one day they just popped up.
