Are the Hooker Super Comps worth the extra money? Has anyone ever used both and seen a performance difference.Thanks

The Hooker Super Competition Headers are better fitting headers. The applications are more specific than the Hooker Competition Headers.

As I understand it, the supercomps tubes are close to equal length. I have heard that this helps more with open headers and doesn't make a big difference if you are running through an exhaust. I am using the supercomp smallblock headers and got them because I wanted 1-3/4inch diameter pipe, to get them to be equal length causes the bends to be placed in a way that makes them kind of a pain to live with. But they are good quality and overall I am happy with them.

If you want ceramic coating get them painted from Hooker and then send them out to be coated. Do a poll here for the best coatings.

You can buy the headers from Jet Hot directly, brand new. They have a lifetime warranty on their "Sterling" level of coating, which is coated inside and out. I just priced the BB Super Comps for my vette, $879+shipping.... ouch.
