Cold Weather Starting..

My old method of starting my car is getting more and more inconsistant. I live in Portland, Or and the Columbia Gorge sweeps in some might cold air. I have to crank her over quite a bit to get her started. Will a higher torque starter and a hotter coil do it for me? As of right now i have the stock coil (so it looks like) on there. What do you suggest I do in general, and if it is coil more specific suggestions there, if you will.

Oh yeah, its my daily driver, too. So i need it in the mornings...

Wes, I would give the "boo" a good tune-up first. New plugs, plug wires and points if you have them.Change the oil and filter and use 10w30 or 5w30 depending how cold it gets where you live. And make sure you choke works right.
