So I installed a new rad. a cold case and love it. I want to switch over to an electric fan but cant seem to find a mount on the radiator for the fan. Any ideas ? or what are others doing for a shroud / electric fan mount. Car is a 72 BB Malibu/ SS clone 5 speed.

Im using a factory 40 y/o 2 row radiator with my 502, along with electric fans. However, it cooled even better IMO with a factory fan/clutch and a small block shroud which really encased the fan better

Look at Wizard cooling I think they have some all in one fan/shroud combos. The good thing is you have a later model Chevelle which gives you lots of cooling options.

I was going to add what Vince said, often the oem shroud, 7-9 blade and clutch do a better job w/o the relay wiring. FYI.

I'm running a Cold Case on my 70 big block with a/c, 7 blade , fan clutch and shroud, works great even on the hottest days.

I used derale dual fans, mounted the brackets that came with it on the cold case radiator side rails, very clean, easy, works great.

I am using the stock 5 blade with clutch with my Cold Case and with the AC on I never go over 180 even on a hot day. Not sure how well an electric fan would do to cool down the condenser in front of the radiator but I see no need to try improve what works. Are you having an issue with cooling? These cars do not have a lot of amps unless you also upgrade your alternator and fans use a lot of juice.

I used the cold Case twin fan and shroud with my CC rad. It just self taps into the lower and upper section if rad.

I wanted to take a little less drag away from the 454 HO, I run a cold case radiator now with a 5 blade aluminum fan no clutch. It runs cool , right at 180, I just like to mess with s**t. Maybe i'll save my money and put it towards the FI Kit and gas tank.
