About to put my new front lowered coils into the car.
The spring compressor through the upper shock mount trick worked damn slick during the removal.
Now that the alignment of the coil on the lower A-Arm is critical to leave 1 drain hole open, can I still use the upper shock mount/coil compressor trick (and kinda trial and error the coil/drain hole alignment) or do I need to position the spring in the lower A-Arm seat w/ 1 hole open and run the compressor in from the bottom shock mounts?
Muchas gracias

I have heard people installed coil springs two ways

1. lining up the end of the coil spring between the two holes in the pocket of the control arm.
2. line up with the end of the coil spring until the spring has hit the dead end(lowest part) part of the control arm where you can no longer rotate the spring.

I wouldn't even attempt using the spring compresser through the bottom of the control arm!!! Sounds dangerous, and I don't think you would be successful.
After I installed the springs(BJ nuts on), I put a little tension on the spring with the compressor, and I was able to grap the coil spring with both hands and rotate the spring down so it rested between the two holes.
But now I am concerned what is the correct location for the spring to sit??
If some has a explination for the correct method I will change them when I get my circle track springs.
