For long term(inal) storage, fill the engine with POR15 before storage. This will prevent rust as well as any further usefulness.

Yeah, but will it rust ? and can you brag to your friends that you "concreted" your block ? "I've POR 15'd my engine" has a real motorhead ring to it.
