What about a 1970 454 SS??? Also, I've noticed on the internet when you do a search that a majority of the 1970 454's are 25k and up and are in show condition only (damn people paying google). Is that always the case or do I just have to ride around the country looking for that one car in the back yard???... hehe.

Please give me the list of 70 SS cars in show condition for 25K. I have missed every one of them. The 70 is the standard all chevelles are compared to and it started years ago with the uniqueness of the LS-6. The 67 seems to follow behind in price command with the rest standing on their particular quality. I prefer a 69 not only for the more pointed lines but I can buy a lot more car for 20-25K than a 70. Good luck on your hunt.

how do yo determine if a vehicle has matching numbers? I have a 69 gto and know how to do so on it.
If you know how to do so on a 69 GTO, you know how to do so on anything.

Careful when replying that 138xx denotes a SS car. If the questioner is truly a novice, they may then think that 138xx Concours wagons may fall into that SS category as well as 138xx Monte Carlos up through 1971 and figure we don't know what we're talking about.
