I thought I had the same problem with my stroker also. What we did was we took the con rod cap and installed the bearing and pressed it up against the crank. You can definitely see if the bearing will work. Look at the cap where the bolt goes in. You will see if you will have a binding problem. Turned out the bearings in my kit were ok. I also had a set of H bearings that my friend brought with him to help me build the engine. Both sets were standard bearings. Odd thing was that when you installed the H bearing there was actually more clearance. The H bearing was thinner. By how much I am not sure as we didnt have a ball mic and I cant remember off the top of my head. Good post Gary. I should have posted that in my build. You can NEVER trust what they send you.
