What about Eric's cam/distibutor problem?
It was a distributor problem alright- just not what he initially thought...

It was a brand new elcheapo HEI distributor, and it was way out of whack... It was pinging like a mo-fo all the time- even at idle. He bought a set of weights & springs, and got it dialed in pretty close. Runs like a madman now!

Ya I will try to come down. Dont worry Ill park on the other side of the lot with the XB:D
Kevin, if you want to come down early, just stop by the house- Eric & I both have our garages open and are just kicking around the rest of the day until the cruise in... Then you could ride in- In style  :D

I went up with the wife and kid. Met Ben,Greg and Frank. Hung out and talked for about an hour or so. Then the guys went for a cruise and I came home. Weather was perfect. There were a few nice rides up there. Need to get more of a turn out next time. I will take my car up there as soon as I get it running again.

Any excuse to get some of the TCNW guys together is a good one.:yes:

I didn't even think about it Kevin until I was almost home, but I should have taken you for a spin in my not quite tuned stealth machine.:D

If you could talk about street kills I'd tell you about Frank schoolin' me tonight. But I can't so I won't.:p

The dark teal convert?
Ben and I were checking it out. We didn't know that was you.
Nice car.

Ben (grey 68 Elky)
Frank (red 69 Chevelle)
and me (flat black '66 Buick) were one row in front of you.

Kevin was there minus his '66 chevelle, (which is minus it's 427)but he WAS wearing his TCNW t-shirt.

Neil- its a beautiful convertible! I really dug it!

to the rest of the group- i gotta give greg props on his build- his car sounds absolutly wicked when he's on it... pretty quiet just cruisin, but when he lined up against frank and took off- holley moley!

My neighbor eric and his son came up in his Blue 69 SS and hungout for a while, but had to take off before Greg showed up... Then a little after Kevin showed up frank rolled in. Hung out for about an hour and half, checked out some cool cars- then Frank greg and i did a little cruising- bumped into a guy in my neighborhood with a real nice 69 SS396 chevelle, hung out in his driveway for about 20 mins- then got up on 99 and had some fun at the stoplights on the way back to gregs house- then Frank and i finished the loop heading back toward our places.

What a great evening! :beers: Gotta get a few more of you folks to come down to the cruise and hang out.
