I just got a 67 gauge cluster and was wondering what to use to clean the gauges without removing the markings?Any ideas?

It's a little dusty but I was hoping to brighten it a little. It doesn't have dirt on it,it's just dull. What part of Danville are you from?
Thanks

Whatever you do, DON"T try to use anything on the gauge faces other than a soft brush! Trust me, I've tried everthing from Armor All to wax to try and clean gauge faces. No matter what I try, I always smudge the lettering. It almost appears that they were siskscreened with a water base paint. They are not very permanent at all! The only thing other than to lightly brush them is to take a q-tip and some vinyl protectant and go AROUND the numbers with it, but this still leaves streaks which you'll have to try to blend in to one another. Good luck
