[67ss]

I just got a 67 gauge cluster and was wondering what to use to clean the gauges without removing the markings?Any ideas?

What kind of cleaning do you need to do? Is it real dirt,or is it just dusty.If its dusty use a 4" soft bristle brush,a 3 buck brush will do wonders.

It's a little dusty but I was hoping to brighten it a little.It doesn't have dirt on it,it's just dull.What part of Danville are you from?

Whatever you do, DON"T try to use anything on the gauge faces other than a soft brush! Trust me, I've tried everthing from Armor All to wax to try and clean gauge faces. No matter what I try, I always smudge the lettering. It almost appears that they were siskscreened with a water base paint. They are not very permanent at all! The only thing other than to lightly brush them is to take a q-tip and some vinyl protectant and go AROUND the numbers with it, but this still leaves streaks which you'll have to try to blend in to one another.
