Is anyone already running a Clay Smith mechanical fuel pump for over 750+ HP ?
Deadhead or return fuel line ?
Anyone running nitrous off same CS fuel pump or separate system ?
Feedback on CS fuel pumps ?

Bad news is as of today, CS doesn't have diaphragms for ANY of their mechanical fuel pumps due to supplier shut down from CV19...they're not sure when they'll be back up.

=> Any using any OTHER mechanical fuel pump for BBC NA 750+ they recommend ?

Math says a NA 750hp with an average BSFE of 0.5 is 62.5 gph. So a Holley (PN: 12-454-20) with 170gph will get you there and plenty left over. And I would go to -8 lines.

Pro cam #9350 looks very similar to Clay Smith.
Clay Smith sells a check valve you can use. Its made by enderle so you might find it elsewhere.
For the moment Im using a edelbrock Victor #1712 pump with the enderle/Clay Smith bypass valve shimmed to 6-7 psi. Used a holley 12-454-20 before for 15 years(still in perfect working condition). Both the holley and edelbrock are speced to handle 750 hp.
Holley is made in Korea edelbrock says made in USA.
I have a new CS fuelpump that I havnt installed yet.
Im using 1/2” tubing and 8 an lines with a Robmc 1/2” sending unit.
I painted my checkvalve with vht paint.

May i ask:
Where did you get the edelbrock 1712s rating from? I am wondering, since its a 130 gph pump and the holley is a 170?
And how much hp do you supply with those pumps?

Edelbrock claims up to 800hp on the box? The Edelbrock has higher psi maybe that has something to Do with it?

Im only at around 600hp.
