I still have my original hose at home. I think it was ribbed. I'll have to take a look tonight and get back to you. I'll try and snap a picture and send it to you. I have no idea who sells the most correct hose, but maybe with a picture you can check into it.
Ya that looks like the same stuff that GM used on PCV and emmission hoses and such. Thousands of feet of this stuff are still in the boneyards with these but at 40+ years old they are usually rotted from sitting in the elements but its a numbers game-you will find usable/cleanable stuff eventually. There are lots of GM 68-72 cars and I hit the jackpot one day while at GMSportssalvage and happened across a low mile 71 4 door that was totaled and stripped all the goodies including these types hoses off it.
Marc, yep....there used to be a place in Sunland called Memory Lane that you could go and get stuff like this too. It has moved to Wilmington. I checked it out once, it's not that same as it used to be. This CI stuff isn't thin. It's pretty thick.
Sparky1968, I'm out of town next week but if your still in need of this stuff I believe I have some GM hose similar to the ribbed stuff in that pic if not dead on in the shop but no guarenetees.
Shoot me a PM and you can have it,
