For us California residents, get your chrome plating done before 2027! Are there any alternative methods to chrome plating like paint?

I hate living in california. You can send your stuff of to other states for chroming though at least. Its not very convenient but thats the way it is for us.

I just read that San Diego county is planning a 4 cent per mile tax (like gas taxes aren't high enough) to pay for mass transit ($165B), and they won't be working on the roads much, to sway people to mass transit. Just brilliant!

There are a lot of other things besides car parts that need rechromed. A few years ago I was talking to the owner of a chrome shop in Fresno where I had some bumpers rechromed. He said rechroming car and bike parts is a very small portion of his business. End goal is to gut this state of any and all industry..... idiots..

This is something to fight against.
Imagine, where does it stop? They need money for their higher pay and pension plans?
Hey, let's bump it up 2 cents....then again and again.........wholey crap!

Yeah, because in the history of government programs and taxes, they've never started with the promise of a small amount and ballooned into taking much more after they got their hooks set...

This is going to be huge because it affects more than show chrome for your cars. It also affects hard chrome for aviation, vehicles, bikes, virtually everything. Oh well… more business to red states.

The only thing that can save California is the 8.0+ that will eventually hit.
