I know this subject has been covered many years ago but some of those products are no longer available. Have talked with Randy @ Spoilers by Randy. Randy's stuff looks pretty nice but what I really want is something larger like the old Spectre air dams. Unfortunately, those have been discontinued. Is Spoilers by Randy the only option for A-bodies,now?

I just noticed that Spoilers by Randy has introduced another front spoiler for the 70-72's, called the Pro Touring II. It's more in tune to what I'm looking for but the downside is the cost, $450/shipped compared to $240/shipped for the Pro Touring spoiler and $190/shipped for the standard unit. The new one is decent but I'm not sure I want to pay $450 for one.
Sure wish I could find a Spectre unit. Those look killer on an A-body.

Thanks, I called them but Spectre has discontinued that front spoiler. Maybe one will show up on ebay.

I got the idea from one of the guys in the pro touring section. It's basically a oe replacement 69 camaro front lip and I used all the factory holes in the bumper. I drilled new holes in the spoiler only. I got the goodmark one from summit and I think it was $40. The middle I used 2 inch pieces of metal strips because that mounting hole needed to be pushed back. I am going to be powder coating the front bumper satin black down the road to match.

You could just make one. Start with foam insulation panels and spray foam to make a prototype then make a negative to do a fiberglass product. Probably cost less than 100 bucks to do.

I made one for my 75 Vega from one of the plastic rocker panels that was left over from my donor car on my project (link below). A little heat from a heat gun and some contouring and it looked great.

I used 1 inch strips on steel and made 2 pieces about 3 inches long just to move to mounting holes backward.

I like the latest spoiler he just introduced for a 70, the Pro-Touring II, but he doubled the price to $400. The Pro-Touring spoiler is $200.

Those 69 Camaro spoilers are inexpensive (approx $40) but they're also pretty small. I want something quite a bit larger on my car.

When they were available, the Spectre air dams were $500 so it's not all about the cost but the total package, for me.

Talked to Glasstek today about this front spoiler for 71-72's, called the Barry Lutz edition. They also said it would fit a 70 with minor fitting. Price is $280.
