Ive got the drag 05s on my car right now. I saw a guy advertising a set on craigslist for 120 bucks. Theyre in phoenix. I thought since I was going to be up there anyway Id just pick them up. After talking to him, he says its not stamped centerline by the lug holes like the set Ive got. But stamped CL by the serial numbers. I decided I to stay at my daughters softball tournement instead of picking these up. So tell me if they sound like centerlines or knockoffs? thanks Jim
centerline drag 05 question

I have a set of polished Auto Drag 05's (used for racing) that have the word Centerline by the wheel lugs.
I also have a set of polished Auto Drag lll series 17(driven on the street) that have the word Centerline on them just like the 05's. These wheels are a billet version of the forged 05's.
And lastly I have a set of polished Eagle Alloys (for my truck) that are cast aluminum and resemble the Auto Drag's...I guess you could call these ones a knock off version, but there is nothing stamped on the wheel itself.
My only guess for your question would be that the ones you are talking about may be very old and this is how they stamped them at that time...they have been around for a long time.
On another note have you seen the prices on "new' Auto Drag's?
