Drove 714 miles, burned 56.8 gallons of 93 octane, averaged 12.57 mpg with a basically stock 350 HP 396, TH 400, 3.07, spent $284.01 and have a little over 1/2 tank left. Average cost per gallon was $4.167.
It was worth every penny!!:D:D

1500 miles round trip, averaging ~16mpg here (got 18 when wife was driving, 15 when I was driving :D ) so we spent about $375 on fuel. I thought I'd like the 4.10 gears with O/D, but I really don't... I'll be swapping to 3.50:1 before I do any more road trips.

I only spent about $20 on beer, but I drink Natural Light so $20 buys a lot of beer. :D My beer expenses were about equal to my Waffle House expenses.

$0.00, I don't drink beer. Bought a 34 oz travel cup (we're calling them "sippy cups") at the Mapco store and over the weekend drank a fifth of Crown Royal and 7-up. Had a swig of Greg's brew #2 out of the Mason jar, too. :secret:

High was 4.25, Low was 3.79, Ave price for reg unleaded was 3.968. Used 180 Gal at an estimated cost of $712 (probably less in actual dollars, NY was 4.25 with one fill up and the 3.79-3.95 covered most other fill-ups). Traveled about 1950 miles at just under 11MPG.

1800 mile round trip, 10 mpg on an '08 GMC 3/4 ton 4wd Duramax/Allison combo towing a 30' enclosed v-nose trailer weighing 8200# and rolling 75 mph the whole way. Spent about $845 with diesel averaging $4.69/gal. Spent $85 on cee-gars and around $40 on beer, and aonther $50 on Waffle House. Coulda been worse.

We drove our little gas mule, spent about $300 and averaged 14 mpg with 3.73 gears with tall tires. That was better than I expected but we stayed around 60-65 mph.

I spent $330 on gas, average around $4.09 a gallon. 1200 mile round trip. Works out to roughly 15 m.p.g. Happy with that. Gas was nothing compared to the money I spent on parts from the vendors at the show. Front disc brake set up for the wagon, four wheel disc brake set up and other parts for the 65 El Camino project. Worth every penny, had a great time. Mark

lessee, 430 miles round trip, 17 gallons, about 25 mpg, $68 total.

I spent more on gas than beer, but not food. I like to eat more than I like to drink beer :)

someone ought to go to one of those greenie websites where they brag about how high they got the mpg meter on their hybrids and post a link to this thread..
just the thought of people using that much fuel just to go hang out with other people that used that much fuel would probably make some of their heads explode..
