Finishing up the wiring and dash install is next....

Question: I have heard it is better to install the carpet 'before' I re-install the dash back onto my 70? Does it matter?? I had planned hold off carpet install until later. Thanks.

I just finished reinstalling my dash. Carpet will be the last thing to go in before seats. I plan on starting at the top and working down. (dash, headliner, Package tray, door & rear 1/4 panels, carpet, Seats) Seems to me that this way will be easier to keep things clean as I install the next thing on the list.

I would go for the carpet last. It really doesn't matter but I know that you don't have to pull the carpet to get the dash out. The two don't have much to do with each other.

As stated, 2nd to last before the seats and kick panels.

You don't want to be tripping over and mucking up the carpet trying to install the dash.

Plus, you'll hear where the screw lands when you drop them better without the carpet
