Anyone here ever use one of these heart monotors? I have to use it for two weeks as they are still trying to diagnose my occurences of heart palpitations.
They assumed that because the last BP meds slowed my heat beat way down that it was part of the cause of them becoming worse. But instead they have gotten less frequent but mor intense and longer lasting with the added feature of chest pain!:(

Every couple years I have to wear a monitor for my pvc's which basically is skipping beats.my cardiologist says their not a problem. usually I get them when tired or stressed, which is almost all the time:D.He said as long as it's not atrial fib not to worry. So I try not to think about them but their annoying. Hope you get yours figured out.Plus I get thallium stress tests every 2 years and I check out alright, Go figure.

Same here...I've worn the monitor a few times.
I skip once every 4-5 beats. Well, not really a "skip" more like a double beat very close together and then followed by a brief time with the heart at rest. Real obvious to me at night before going to sleep. I can feel/hear the skips.
Although the cardiologist tells me nothing to worry about, he has me do a thallium stress test every 8-10 months along with various blood work.
Got 4 stents and take 10 pills the first thing every morning. :boring:
I love watching the reaction when someone runs an EKG strip on me.

This thing they send to me and I call on the pone for instructions on putting it on. Then they monitor me through a trasmitter that I have to carry with me for two weeks. Then they update the doctor every day while I wear it.
