I am restoring a '68 El Camino SS and I am looking for the correct Rochester Quadrajet carb for my 325 HP 396. It has a TH 400. Can't seem to verify correct carb number. Does anyone have the correct carb number before I go out and buy one?

Thanks, Phil Swanson

A good reference book is Alan Colvins "Chevrolet by the numbers" 65-69. If you need a carb Jeff at Dated componets will probably have one close to your date. They are kinda rare now.

I have a 68 396 325hp complete motor with a rochester carb. Might be willing to sell it. It is a May built motor. If interested send me a pm with the part number you need and I will look for you. Not sure what it is worth. It will need rebuilding. But I need the turbo 400 kick down bracket for my car.
