I assume you have a wet plate under the carb... This is what I have... If the manifold is sucking hard when you hit the nitrous, then, I do not see how that could happen, because the mixture coming out of the plate is pulled downwards... If the nitrous is hit with no sucking, ie. low RPM, then, I could see how the mixture could splash upwards and possible expand in the carb and cause some problems... Tip: If you flood your car, double check your nitrous activation switch is off before you floor it to get it started...
