Does anyone have a quadrajet listing that can tell me the specs on a carb part number 17045214, I am looking for one to run on a 71 402 engine.

17045214 is a carb produced after 1976. All carbs for 70-75 models start with the prefic 70.
I don't find it listed in any sources. The GM to AC Delco master conversion list does not have it nor the interchange manual. If this is correct then it is a 1976 and later carb. Are you sure the numbers listed are correct? The master list does not show any carbs starting with 1704, they start with 1705. This may not be a GM apllication if the number are as shown.

Hoffman, check that number again..I found a 7045214 Quadrajet that was originally on a 75-77 Chevy / GMC (3/4 or 1 ton) non-Cal emmissions heavy duty truck 350 cu. in. motor. From what I could find in a Delco Carb catalogue, when GM went to the 8 digit carb id numbers, they started at 17056*** and that was for the 1975 model year. You may have a marine carb or some other special off road piece, I checked all the GM divisions and could not find any 17045***.
