Hey all I've almost finished replacing my th350 with a TKO-500 from classicchevy5speed. The problem I'm having is the transmission is in and when I hit that started it clicks like it is trying to spin the motor but will not spin it. Everything lined up well on the install when putting everything on. So I'm wondering what could be possibly be causing this problem and will I have to pull the transmission back out to fix it because it was a real PITA to get in there. As always thanks for your time and help.

what year car?
was it a column shift or floor shift T350??
did you have a Neutral Safety Switch before?
do you have it connected now on the TKO-500?
insure that the wiring harness to the starter is not pinched between the bellhousing and the block flange area...

I was just sitting here turning it over in my head and the safety switch popped in. I was so worried about it being a mechanical issue. Thanks a lot. That's the first thing I'll check in the morning when I get off. It is a 1971 that already had a floor shifter installed.
