I've been walking around w/a smile on my face since this weekend when I put those 84's in the back of my 770. The 3" exhaust didn't give me as big a boost as I expected, but the with the jet change I think I picked up 50 to 75HP. Car used to fall dead on its face around 5500 - I attributed it to the GM crate motor cam/lifter deal. But what was really happening was the car was so freakin' lean it was dying! Probably worsened w/the new exhaust system, so much for this LM-1 that was telling I was slightly rich at WOT! Hope I did't burn any pistons - will find that out when I pull the heads off for the seals/ and beehives. Doing rolling burnouts again, pulls with authority to 6000. I did go up on the nozzles from .25 to .31, and put the silver spring in.
All my friends and neighbor's would say, "close the hood and just drive it", but I knew better.
B/c I'm screwed up in the head I think there's more in there!!!
