I own a 70 ss 396 chevelle built in oshawa plant . The cowl tag has the z25 m21 codes stamped on it n I have been reading some post on how some guys have gotten the build sheets for their cars . How can i get in contact with gm to see if it would be possible to get one for my car . I know its a real ss as it dose have the vin # n engine trans code on the block n vin n date code on trans so not try to make sure its real, just would be cool to get the build sheet . Any info would be greatly appreciated..

As long as your car was made in Canada or sold there, GM of Canada will have paperwork on your car. They just need the vin number to look up info and can fax you the info usually the same day (after payment of course). Not all that expensive either, great resource, just wish GM of America would have done the same!! Good luck.
