Instead of looking for a core and having it redone, do they still sell new Quadrajets for the lowrise C.I. manifold and if so, where's the best place to buy one? Thanks for any help.

I think Edelbrock sells new Quadrajets, they're not cheap, but they are brand new.

Edelbrock quit selling the q-jets a while back.
but if you can find one of the Edelbrock 1910's out there, it is a very versatile carb that is rated at 850cfm.

Check with JET pretty sure they have new Q-jets .they certainly build vbery good Q-Jetsfrom your core
