I got a new pedal, pin and spring. How does the spring attach so it can hold the pedal secure?

Have you figured out your throttle cable? Call me if you haven't as I have the part number for a Holly/Demon cable set up.

Off the top of my head, I remember what a pain in the neck it is to install the gas pedal. You've got to be lying on your back, head way under the dash, you slide the pin thru one side of the pedal into the shaft, thru the spring and out the other side of the pedal. My pedal had a groove where one of the spring arms would lay and there is a groove in the pin to hold the spring and assembly in place. I might be doing something wrong because my pedal fell off about a month ago.

The pin in mine broke in half a couple months after i bought the car- That was a PITA- had to pound the old rusted one out- then pound the new one in... ugh...

So you got to drive it???!!!! SWEEET!!!

I have not really driven it yet, took it to my neighbor's house on Sunday (100 yards down the street) to weld the bucket seat conversion plates to the floor and where we had cut for the shifter.

I am waiting to get 1 dry day so that I can take it to the exhaust shop and have the exhaust put on, and then for some tires. After that I will take it out on longer than 100 yard rides!!

Orange it will be. I will start working on my old hood and do some experimentation.
