I have a 66 Chevelle Malibu, with front bench seat. I am planning on installing a Flaming River tilt column, and B&M Street Bandit floor shifter. While I have the dash down I will also be installing a new speedo lens in order to get rid of the "PRNDL". Also installing new chrome speedo trim and top dash strip. Can I put the B&M floor shifter in the floor where it would normally go if I had bucket seats? Will I be able to reach the shifter easily? The car is in winter storage right now, so I don't have access to it yet. Thanks!!

Of course you could get Chevelles with a bench seat 4 speed. In fact the buckets were an option.
