Hey guys I'm thinkin of ordering those new SS gauges for my 70 SS. Has anybody out there
in "Chevelle land" seen these gauges up close? I want to make sure they are exactly
the same as the originals before I order them. Thanks guys

I haven't seen the ampmeter, temperature or the fuel gauges, but the tach looked good until I noticed that the face was rivited on with 2 black rivits instead of having the 3 screws that hold the factory one on.
I figure they are made by the same guy in Taiwan that makes all those great fitting repo parts we have learned to love

I haven't seen one in person, but why do they
always say EXACTLY reproduced, when they aren't. I mean how much more work could it have been to use three screws like the originals, instead of two rivets. They could at least used three rivets in the same place as the screws.
