If you know anything about car sales, a lease payment is based on the full sticker price of the vehicle. Based on that they can afford to wave some fees and still make a great profit. This is not a deal.

I have had my 2011 Titan since new and it has been great. Very little work needed other than tires, brakes, etc. I gave up on new GM trucks after a couple of lemons. GM, Ford, Dodge guys that I know have been through three trucks since I bought mine. Now about the Leaf, they can keep that POS.

it's actually pretty smart. Not everyone wants to drive a 15mpg truck back and forth to work. save the wear and tear on your truck for 2 years, just run the truck when you need if.
When we bought our tacoma in 2011, I wanted to trade in my wife's vibe. she being frugal pointed out the vibe gets 32mpg, I drive 24 miles round trip, my 77 gmc Jimmy gets about 9mpg which vehicle do we trade in? So the vibe has been daily driver for 10 years, if I had a cheap ev I'd be using it as a daily. jim
