406 Build-up question

I have a 406 bottom end TRW forged flat tops. Stock crank stock rods.Going in my Chevy II around 3000 lbs..Turbo 350 3000 stall convertor...3.90 rear.100 shot of nitrous

O.k. heres the conundrum...I have a set of 2nd gen trick flow heads and a set of vortec heads...which would be the better choice? And I still need to choose a cam...streetability is not an issue..but I want to use a hld flat tappet.probably one of the voodoo cams. Will race the car but also drive it alot.

Thanks for the advice

vortecs are good, but every article ive seen usually puts the trickflows(23 degrees) on top by about 20 hp. considering the aluminum heads weigh less, and you can run more compression with aluminum i'd go with the trick flows.
