My 70 is from Baltimore also. There was a build sheet under the front carpet as already stated. One in the back of the front seat spring.I also found one stuck through the frame hole in the right rear spring tower. Also check the back seat.I have heard that other plants have them on the inside of the door panel.Jim

Huh.......what?
They were used to build the car. After the car was built the build sheet was garbage! The cars became garbage cans for some of the build sheets! Some cars have them, some don't!

My 70 cutlass had the build sheet between the trunk and the gas tank (on top of the gas tank)

And I've heard of people finding the build sheets on their GM cars just about every place that has been listed in this thread now, mostly in the back seats.

Personally, I think the build sheets are interesting, historic pieces of garbage :D Worth framing if you value your GM car and plan on keeping it for a long time. I haven't striped my el-co down very much to find the build sheet on it yet

Located mine (Baltimore) under the rear seat. Interior is almost apart and haven't located any others. Nothing atop the fuel tank or under bucket seats or carpeting. Haven't checked the headliner yet.

I helped a buddy find his, it is Baltimore built. We found it on the back side of the back seat. It was almost visible from the trunk.
