I am in the middle of a bench to bucket seat conversion. I noticed when I removed the bench seat, the inner hole(toward hump) on the rear bracket was used.

The buckets have a similar bracket.

Do I use the outer (toward door)hole or the inner (toward hump) rear hole for mounting.

Thanks

Not sure I understand your delima. My `70 bench to bucket conversion, I used the rear hole next to the door for the reference point, attached the aftermarket brackets to the bucket seat, with a bolt in the rear outer hole, and found the front outer hole needed to be relocated about 1 inch inward, tword the hump, then tack welded the brackets and removed the bucket seat, then welded the bracket to the floor.

Stan,

Thanks for the input. Apparently some people reset the outside bolt locations, and some do not.

Your email indicated that I should use the outside hole of the door side.

THanks
