I noticed yesterday that there was a few brown spots appearing on the highbuild primer on my car,the primer has been on there for a couple of years as I can't afford a paint job right now.These spots wipe right off no problem I am just wondering if it could be rust?All the sheet metal was taken down to bare metal before priming if this is rust what can I do?Thanks as always.

Rust dosen't wipe off.You would have some pitting too.

Ya it doesn't really look like rust maybe it's fly s%#t.

Post a picture of it if you can. What type of primer was used over the bare metal. If could very well be rust, this was typical back in the laquer primer days, no pits, just streaks of rust on the primer.
