You put a snap ring on the end adjusters (polylocks). Two for the intake row and two for the exhaust row. Repeat on the other side. The snap rings keep you from pushing the bars down on the adjusters too far.

The 4 pieces that make up the girdle are in the box, the 16 polylocks, the locking studs, and there are 8 snap rings?
Stupid question of the day? Why 8 snap rings? the poly lock is machined with a groove, but shouldnt there be 16 snap rings?
I know I should call them, but it would be nice to have an answer tonight.
