well, made it out to Pacific...not sure if anyone else was there...

took me 1.5 hours to get there in rash hour traffic from Lynnwood in the middle of the heat (3 PM or so.) The car drove fine, never above 180 degrees in that miserable traffic, oil at 180, tranny fluid was getting little warm but not bad at all.

Then around 5:15 or so (a few minutes after we started racing) a guy pops his oil filter and oils the track all the way down....I think it took them 2 hours to get back and going...

they had Jr. Dragsters, car club, and with all that I just put 1 run in....sucked, but it was a blast as it has been a while since I have been out...

Did anyone else make it?

I was out there Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.. I ran on a throttle stop in order to run the NPSA 12.50 Heads up class (Pro Light)

I got three hits in Friday night (all after the "oil down incident")

Saturday evening I got 1 hit for NPSA then went out in round one with a 12.54 / .067 RT against an old timer who ran a 12.52 / .037 RT

In pro I got two hits and then went out in round two with 12.47 against a 12.45 Dial (Red light) against a 12.08 / 12.08 dial so at least I didn't lose just because of the red light.

It felt hotter than the salt flats in my black car in the staging lanes! I ran with my vents open LOL… but she never got hot…

sounds fun.....I took off around 8:45, as we had some food after the 1st run and I would end up at the end of the line, which was long and not moving at the time...

it was hot out there...I would take that any time over the little storm that was going last night though...
