The one on the left rear of my '71 lasts about 2-3 weeks and then burns out. The taillamp portion continues to work. I've checked for moisture and the seal is good, the socket and connector look good and has some dielectric paste in it, but they keep failing. Any ideas why? Thanks!

Thanks! Where do the LED bulbs come from?

Hadn't thought of that, these bulbs were all out of the same package! I know the silver base ones don't last as long as the brass colored ones either.

How much voltage are you getting to the lights? Is it possible that the lights are getting more than 12 volts and causing them to burn out faster?? What is your alternator putting out? I know once on my 69 Charger the voltage regulator took a dump and started over charging my battery at a nice 16 volts!!!! I ended up having really nice and bright headlights however, the driverside ended up burning out also as a result of it or so it seemed.

Volt gauge shows 12 to 13.5 depending on load, I may try some other bulbs this weekend and see how they last.
