I am doing an engine swap from a 350 to 454. 350 was not original in the car due to the previous owner put a rod through the side of the block. I know since i am doing tall valve covers i need to change out my booster to a smaller one to make room. Currently it has the 11inch booster on it and so going to an 8 inch booster be enough or do i need to go to a 7inch booster.

Use a dual 9" and it will fit easily.

Yes dual 9 inch fits fine and it actually works. The single 7-8 are not enough whatever you do go dual chamber. Dual 9 in photo.

There's a pic in my media I think but I'll post a pic from my phone, I have a 489/454 with Brodix Race Rite heads, .600 lift hyd roller cam with normal poly locks but couldn't use my old M/T finned covers, Edit my dog typed lol

I used Master Power I think it was. Also I think the later year Chevelles 68+ had more clearance for brake boosters.

I used a Tuff Stuff 2224NC on my ‘72.

If it's a tight fit, use the factory driver's side slanted cover :

Thank you. Yes i am using Energy Suspension mounts as well. Very tight fit for sure. Appreciate the pics.
