Brain dead on electrical

I've installed a LT-1 into my `65 chevelle. I have added the engine harness, which was real easy, it was a kit from Howell. Anyhow, now I need help with changing the original chevelle harness from a outside regulator to a CS type alternator. And then some help on the wiring for the starter.
Has onyone been there before?

Thanks to all for the info. I'm printing it all out now and will review it when the boss isn't looking.
