Yesterday I bracket raced my Chevelle in Super Pro class. I recently installed some AFCO DA rear shocks, as my former QA1 SA rear shocks were very sensitive to track prep. Special Thanks goes out to Crazey Davey, Garret, and Bob West for there advice on shock settings. I had my AFCO's set full stiff on compression and full soft on rebound and the car responded by going 1.3280 sixty foot during rd 1 of eliminations:yes: This was at 2:09pm during the hottest part of the day. I would normally always spin my tires during the hottest part of the day with the QA1's.

I dialed 6.47, went .0090 on the tree, and ran 6.4740 for the win. My opponent dialed 4.90, went .0209 on the tree, and ran 4.9145. My .0090 reaction time also got me the bye for rd 2. There were a even number of cars in rd 2, so I had to race to keep my bye. My dial was still 6.47 and I went .0051 on the tree, ran 6.4921 for the win. My opponent dialed 4.93, went .0065 on the tree, and broke out going 4.9277 on his 4.93 dial. I screwed up by dropping my tire pressure before rd 3 started and lost when I spun. My Hoosier radial slicks had 21.5 lbs of air and I dropped it down to 20 lbs thinking that 21.5 was too much pressure....wrong! I still had a great day at the track and beating those two dragsters really made my day! My car was pulling some nice 2-3 foot wheelies too. I didn't have anyone to shoot any videos, but I plan on purchasing a Hero GoPro real soon. I do have pictures of my AFCO's installed and my time slips with the 1.3280 sixty foot.

On the ARB is it a bolt in or weld in? Car go straight? What brand?
Both, the upper brackets are bolted to the frame and the lower brackets are welded to the axle tube. Car goes straight with proper preload. I'm using H&R PartsNStuff ARB.

I really like the .5 pro tree, so thought I'd try a box and top bulb. Not racing all the time makes it hard to wait for the tree to come down.

I think the box will help you very much with your reaction times. It will take some getting used to sitting there and waiting for the delay and then all of the sudden...wheels up:D

That's what has me a little worried. Being used to it leaving off the button. But I'm sure it won't take long to get used to. I just really liked letting go of the button at the flash of the bulb and not having to wait.
