Boxing in the frame ?

That looks pretty nice for the most part. The one thing I don't like about it is the holes in the rear cross member only allow for a 3" exhaust diameter and less. If you use 3.5" diameter (like I do on my car) you're out of luck.HPI looks to have a pretty NICE frame boxing/reinforcement kit.

I make this rear lateral brace for the 68- 72 abodies,and the front chassis brace also.
there's some members running them,actually there's a post about them.

Wow! This is a pretty old thread. So where is that other thread that you mentioned where these braces are discussed??? I'd like to see a pic of the front brace mounted, and I might be interested in both of them depending on the price. The rear brace that you've shown here^ would serve a dual purpose for me if I chose to weld another tube onto it for a rear driveshaft safety loop.

It's in brakes,suspension, and steering.
