Hi All,

I bought my '66 Malibu a couple of months ago. Since purchasing the car, the fuel gauge needle "jumps" around, whether on flat ground, inclines, corners, doesn't matter. It acts more like a "VU" meter than a gas gauge.

Do I need to replace the fuel tank sensor?

Thank you in advance!

May need a new sending unit. Finally cured one of ours after all else was done.

Ethanol blend gasoline is wreaking havoc on fuel systems due to its hydrophilic and corrosive properties, especially in our older rides. :(

Get those destructive wasteful tax-subsidized corn flakes out of our fuel!!!
