It seems there are 3 lengths from center of cup to end: 5.5", 6.75" and 8". I guess you could use any as long as your driveshaft is the correct length and the right size u-joint.
I currently have the short 5.5" one in my Super T-10 and it is fine. The yoke is the same length as the 27 spline one it replaced when I swapped out my Muncie for the ST-10.
The bushing in the trans is about 1"-1.25" wide and it sits about 1.25" deep in the tailhousing. So anything over 2.5" in the tailhousing is beyond the bushing. I have one of the 6.75" yokes I got by mistake and it will go into the trans all the way without hitting anything inside.
