HUH?

I don't even know if that is a possibility. The best scanner we have in our agency is a Recoh with an ADF. It scans pages super fast, but only loose pages. Never heard of a scanner that would to a bound book.

You would have to remove the bound, or just be real careful of positioning and outside light that would cause bleed through.

Check with your local Kinkos. They did a few books for me a while ago. Not sure how they did it, but it came out fine and was very reasonable.

Chaos,
When I worked for Xerox, we had some machines that had the glass very close to the edge, with a straight drop down. They could do bound pages really good. Not fast, but that is not an issue. My scanner here at home is not quite good enough.
David,
Might try Kinkos and see what they have. Were they able to put the scans on a cd for you, or just give you a hard copy ?

I would think any of the multi function office machines with a glass would do the job quite well. A flatbed copy machine should works very well.

If you would explain "not quite good enough" and dollar amount, that would help with the choice.

good luck,
Jon
