Hi, I am new to this site although Ive been looking for a while. Finally found the car Ive been looking for 69 Malibu 49k original miles numbers matching. The body and interior is great. I am starting to work on improving the handiling so this winter am replacing body mounts with polyurethane bushings, alittle tougher than I thought but I am well into the process. There is a question I have if anyone can help. All of the bushings have bolts running thru them except one on each side on the frame under the doors they just seem to be bumpers that are pressed into the frame no bolt running thru them I almost need to cut them off to remove but if there's no nut to bolt the new one on I am screwed and I have'nt cut this off yet.. Has anyone else encountered this. Sorry for the long post.
