Took some pic's on the body back on the frame today to start replacment of the 1/4's, trunk, and roof skin. Also wanted to see how the suspension set up looks so far. Does any on have a pic of their door hinges mounted up? I'm going to mock up the door before I remove the old 1/4's I don't quite remember how they look instaled. Should I replace the hinge's with after market since there avalible or rebuild the old ones? Thank's for any replies:beers:

If it was still 1985 I would keep the sky light . lol I'm sure this is'nt the first time the body will be reinstaled and taken off then reinstaled then ect.... When I got this car there was alot of parts missing so it's going to be a great learning experience. I'm dropping a 454 stroked in the car. I have'nt decided on tranny yet. Probaly going with an automatic with an overdrive. I bought a assembly manual and a fisher body manaual, but it doesen't show the 1/4's procedure of them being instaled, any tip's.

Josh, it was pretty simple to get off. Took the air chisel with cutting bit, and cut it off in about 5 mins. However, I drilled out all the spot welds then used the chisel very "lightly" to pop the rest of the weld. You have to use the cutoff wheel to cut out the spots along the drip rail, that was prob the worst part. Hammer and dollied a few spots and it was straight. You can look at all my pics here:

First five pics show it getting cut out. I was lucky and they make a repro panel for the Camino. It fits really well and it's thick metal. I'm going to weld it on after I get both 1/4 panels hung. I'm still in the process of getting the 1/4 lined up before I weld it.
