I personally would not buy anything "crate" from ebay or most others if I was in the market for a well built/customized engine. I would go with an owner/operator with a good reputation such as the ones on this forum It does seem like Blueprint is a notch above the rest of the "crate" and most...

Do they make small blocks only ?...
I wonder with all the engines they're building, if they have time to really ''custom build'' each of them for every customer... or if they offer a few ''recipies'' of their own from which the customer has to choose from?
I'm not saying this to criticize them but they build them on such a large scale that they might not have time to go in the details that each end every customer wants. I'd be worried to get a ''one-size-fits-all'' type of engine... Good quality but not custom-built like a small engine shop who builds them one by one.

Yes, I would guess they offer a pretty large menu from which to choose; easy going street thru full race strip or track with many steps in between. Prices probably generally follow along with some various upgrades for chrome or billet substitutes. Would be fun to "window shop" and see just how close to your idea of perfect you could get.

Go to their website and check them out. To me there seems to be a nice "menu" to choose from.

I put one of their 509’s in my car, it runs great! Sounds very healthy, made 652/627 on their dyno. I’ve seen other people put the engines on different dyno’s and got pretty similar numbers, so I don’t think they’re inflating the numbers either.
